Dogs. Everyone loves dogs don' t they? And I love doing dog and other animal portraits.

This Tough Guy loves the outdoors and I felt he looked great on his own against a big cloudy sky.

HorseDog!

I know this is not a dog! I like to do other animals too, and horses are a favourite other than dog portraits. I do love horses even though I have once been very nearly killed by one. Lightning strike and I get tossed like a salad into the air, and then he decides to give me a kick in the head for good measure before I hit the ground.

Not his fault a beginner rider was on him. This horse I put into a rural, rustic farm yard.

Tess the Staffie.

This is also a friends dog, I've put her into a shot of a dam near their home. Tess was shot inside and then Photoshopped till her owner ( and her ) were happy. It was printed onto a big canvas 1 and a half Metres long.

This image was made from a friend's digital shot of him taking his 2 dogs walkies, I cut him out (sorry!) and placed the two dogs on this new background of the seaside, quite dramatic, and then printed onto fine cotton canvas. The owners were very pleased with the results and this has encouraged me to want to do more and see if in my enforced retirement I can make a few bucks from doing so.

As I love animals and love my Photoshop, this is a no brainer....that is of course if I get anyone to commission me! Anyway, I will posting the ones I do for myself and friends and if anyone wants one of the completed ones, mail me and I'll send you the file to go to your local print store and get it done. Frame it well and it will make a great picture in your home
